Could it be? Has summer actually arrived? Since we were the only ones on the beach I am going to go with a loud, "NO"! That being said, we still gathered up our beach toys and headed to the beach the other day to burn off some energy! The kids absolutely loved every minute of it. They were racing through the sand, digging up buried treasure, dipping their toes in the freezing water and enjoying the (kind-of) warm weather. After 1 1/2 hours they were tired and ready to head home. All in all, it was a wonderful day and it felt so good to get out of the house!
Hopefully summer really makes an appearance in the near future so we can break out our swimsuits and really hit up the beach {although, it was kind of nice having the whole place to ourselves}!
