Adventures From The Cabin

This year we decided to spend Canada Day at our home away from home - the cabin - in Montana (I know it seems a little odd to spend Canada Day in the States but we couldn't resist)! We arrived yesterday afternoon and today we spent the day outside in the perfect and extremely hot weather playing in the pool and the lake. The kids had a lot of fun today. Even Remy got into the summer spirit in her "itsy bitsy yellow bikini" - too cute. Caden had an eventful day trying out new things. He rode the quads with his daddy, played in the pool, and drove the jet-ski in the lake with Grandma (they made a lot of tight circles - haha). By the end of the day both kids - especially Caden - were exhausted and ready for bed! I am sure tomorrow will be another fun day! Tonight the plan in a bon-fire with smores - yummy - and then off to bed!
Remy kicking back by the pool in her new bikini. I would have to say she looks adorable - rolls and all!
Caden in the pool. Surprisingly enough he was pretty cautious in the pool and it took him quite a while to warm up to the whole idea. Once he got used to things he had a blast - Brian even had him leaping off the edge into the water.
This is Caden waiting to get onto the jet-ski for the first time. We didn't know how he would do but, he loved it. I think Cade and Grandma were out on the water for about a 1/2 hour and Cade could have kept going for who knows how long!
Caden taking Grandma on a jet-ski ride.
Cade and Grandma after a long ride. They must have been cruising because Cade's hair is sticking straight up in the front - I think he looks so much like a little Howarth in the picture! He had so much fun - such a cute little man!
