Today REMY turns ONE!
(Remy 1-day old & Remy 1-year old)
I truly can't believe how quickly this past year has flown by and how quickly my baby girl has grown. It honestly feels like it was only a few months ago that we brought Remy home to join our family. Remy has added so much love into our home this past year and everyone who knows her has fallen in love with her. Here is what she has been up to this past year...
- Remy weighs 21 pounds at 1-year old
- She has 5 teeth (3-bottom and 2-top)
- She can say, "hi", "no", "mama", "dada" and "please" (at least I think she is saying please)
- She loves to play peek-a-boo and will cover her own eyes (it is priceless)
- She can stand on her own but hasn't taken her first step quite yet
- She goes to bed at 7:30pm and wakes up at 7:30am
- Remy LOVES to take baths - she could stay in the water for an hour
- She also LOVES to brush her own hair and is constantly trying to use various objects as hats (which she balances on her head)
- She is a very sensitive little girl - when told "no" she tilts her head down and gives you a look so you know her feelings have been hurt
- If told "no" multiple times she often cries
- Remy is always happy. However, lately she has discovered her temper and has been known to throw a good temper tantrum now and then
- She loves to laugh and when tickled will laugh hysterically
- She loves to play with Cade. If you say "go find your brother" she will look around for him until she finds him. I often find them playing together in Cade's room - they are so cute
- She loves to DANCE. As soon as she hears music she starts bopping up and down
- Remy loves food - especially bananas, grapes, cheese, bread, corn and baby mum-mum cookies
Remy is so much fun. We love having her around and can't imagine life without her. She is so full of life...

PS - tonight we are having Remy's birthday party at my parents house. We are going to eat a yummy dinner, open presents and eat cupcakes! Check back for pictures from Remy's party...

Happy Birthday Remy! She is so cute. I can't wait to see her. Tell her that I have some good presents waiting for her here. I think she will like them!
